Membership in the Space Coast Energy Consortium (“Consortium”) is an opportunity to join the effort to facilitate and drive energy-related economic development in Florida’s Space Coast and the Central Florida region. By creating a new innovation cluster, the Consortium intends to build a clean, high growth and sustainable energy economy to accelerate the transformation of the region by redeploying its assets to new market opportunities in clean energy.

The Consortium works closely with Space Florida, Enterprise Florida, the Florida Solar Energy Center, NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Florida’s Technological Research and Development Authority, the Space Coast and Metro Orlando Economic Development Commissions, our research universities and many of our region’s leading innovative companies to build a vibrant energy economy in Central Florida. While the Consortium’s focus is on Central Florida, companies and institutions from throughout the state and the nation are welcome to join and help to build the clean energy economy in our region.

Membership Categories and Dues

 

Members:     Annual dues: $200-$2500, depending upon firm size (See application)

           

Clean energy companies in various industry sub-sectors.

 

Affiliate Members:    Annual dues: $1,250 for firms <25 employees, $2,500 others

 

Clean energy service providers including legal, accounting, finance, project development, executive search, real estate and other professional service firms.

 

Partners:    Annual dues: $300 for partner organizations

 

Closely affiliated organizations, especially other industry councils and associations with which the Consortium coordinates efforts and exchanges resources and member benefits.

 

Educational Institutions:    Annual dues: $300 for membership

           

Universities, Community Colleges and other educational institutions who provide resources and training in energy-related topics.

 

Boosters:    Annual dues: $100 for individual “booster” membership

 

Individuals are welcome to join the Consortium as “booster” members, which will allow the member access to events but do not include other corporate benefits such as a listing in the Consortium’s online clean energy cluster directory.
